The system
includes:
- Issuing stations for personalization of the smart cards.
- Card Recharging Stations.
- Terminals located at the restaurant checkout counters.
- A central database and management system.
Originally the
terminals used were Financers, manufactured by Thyron, UK.
The system has recently been updated to operate on Lipman terminals.
Additional Programs
Addtional programs for smart and magnetic card replacement of food
vouchers have been implemented by Aurora.
These programs encompassed a wide assortment of system configurations,
including use of smart cards or magnetic cards, realtime terminal
communications to the center or offline transactions carried out by the
terminal.
